A versatile artist with a passion for design and color, Diane is a graphic designer and award winning painter. Her career has centered around the consumer packaged goods industry. Currently, living in Bernardsville, NJ, Diane grew up in Northeastern Ohio. She received her BFA from Ohio University and studied painting in Florence, Italy. A signature member of the NJ Pastel Society, the Center for Contemporary Art and The Visual Arts Center of Summit, Diane continues to experiment with various media and techniques.

Artist statement
Painting is a story without end, a mystery without any clues. The blank page is infinite, a puzzle longing to be solved. Color provides weight and dimension. Lines and shapes spark energy, becoming characters who breathe life into the canvas. Light and shadow soften the focus, creating mystery. Questions always remain; the end is only just out of sight.
